Question: “Is it good to have close friendships with unbelievers?” Answer: As Christians, we have to constantly face temptations and the attacks of the world around us. Everything we see, read, do, hear, put in our bodies, etc., affects us somehow.
Sof passuk Most important are the verse endings. According to the Talmudic tradition, the division of the text into verses is of ancient origin. Less formally, verse endings are usually also indicated by two horizontal dots following the word with a silluq. Parashah The Masoretic textual tradition also contains section endings called parashot , which are usually indicated by a space within a line a “closed” section or a new line beginning an “open” section.
The division of the text reflected in the parashot is usually thematic. Unlike chapters, the parashot are not numbered, but some of them have special titles. In early manuscripts most importantly in Tiberian Masoretic manuscripts, such as the Aleppo codex , an “open” section may also be represented by a blank line, and a “closed” section by a new line that is slightly indented the preceding line may also not be full.
These latter conventions are no longer used in Torah scrolls and printed Hebrew Bibles. In this system, the one rule differentiating “open” and “closed” sections is that “open” sections must always start at the beginning of a new line, while “closed” sections never start at the beginning of a new line.

Clearly, the message of Scripture is that believers are completely different from nonbelievers, and it is from this perspective that we must discern what kind of friendships we can really have with unbelievers. The book of Proverbs has a few wise verses on believers befriending non-believers: We should stay away from foolish people All these things represent those who have not been saved.

And as all new versions innocently claim, it is just a harmless update to the outdated King James Bible. And as all new versions proudly boast, it is more accurate than the prehistoric King James Bible. And as all new versions loudly brag, it is easier to read than the archaic King James Bible. And as all new versions prove — it is simply not true. The following statements from the ESV boast of their heroic deeds: For this reason, the ESV seeks to translate the original Greek and Hebrew words with the greatest possible accuracy and precision.
Thus it seeks to be transparent to the original text, letting the reader see as directly as possible the structure and meaning of the original. Just a small one. We have many copies. And we have different copies. And not all are the same.

Introduction Most Christians in the world today believe in the Trinity which is the union of the three divine persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — into one Godhead.
The Trinity, therefore, is a principle that can be considered dogmatic. Sincere Christians, however, are more interested in obtaining accurate knowledge from Biblical research than in twisting and manipulating the scriptures to fit some preconceived man-made doctrine or dogma. To these people, truth is more important than tradition. Is the dogma of the Trinity fact or not?

While in many cases it appears that the law was a prophecy, it is equally true to also say that while He fulfilled prophecy He obeyed all laws. So to understand prophecy we must have a firm grasp of the law. Fulfilling The Law And Prophecies. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho (Public Domain) (Joshua KJV) So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
They believe that the KJV is the version of the Bible that is closest to the original. As with other areas of the IFB belief system, this falls along a continuum of beliefs. On the more liberal side of the continuum, some IFB churches believe that the KJV is the most accurate version of the Bible and should be used by all Christians to avoid heretical views and beliefs. The IFB churches I experienced fell on the more conservative side of the above mentioned continuum.
It would be interesting to do a study of how the IFB came to the conclusion that the KJV is the closest translation to the original. I simply took it upon faith like every other teaching that came from the IFB.
