California State Parks Campgrounds Dogs are allowed in California State Parks campgrounds, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and in a tent or enclosed vehicle at night. Pets are not permitted in park buildings, on trails, or on most beaches. Angeles National Forest Campgrounds Campsites are first come, first served with a maximum day stay at a site, and a total of 30 days stay per year in this Forest. The Angeles National Forest offer group campgrounds on all three of the ranger districts, some accommodating up to campers. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the campgrounds and on the trails. Recreational Vehicles no longer than 30 feet. There are 40 campsites. There is short walk to a rocky beach from the campground.

If you have a driving RV without a car and leave your site without notifying them they can and will re rent your site and keep your money. We asked to use our 2 extra days we prepaid for on our return from hurricane evacuation and they flat out said NO! Their other policies include no cleaning of fish at your site and no disposal of fish guts in their dumpster. If you do not clean the bath house they will close it.
They point out that as an RV park they are not required to offer one. There are permanent campers that store a lot of “stuff” outside which junks up the campground. No one from management directed the residents to put things away when the hurricane was coming. Biting flies were a bother. Should you choose to stay you will find rather narrow spots with gravel. A small picnic table which is adequate for 4 people. It is right across the street from the beach and you do have access to a hotel pool on the beach as well.
You can also rent wave runners at the beach which is a plus.

A few secluded wilderness sites nestled along the banks of the St. Lawrence River are accessible by foot or boat only. Within this rustic paradise, fishing is excellent—particularly for muskie in autumn. To accommodate boaters, the park has a slip marina and four boat launches. One of the main attractions of the park is the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center, which includes educational exhibits, live animals, varied habitats such as wooded wetlands, 3 miles of shoreline and open granite outcrops, and miles of trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and nature education.
The Nature Center provides educational and recreational programs for all ages. Pets must have proof of current rabies vaccination. Certificate of innoculation is required. You can choose a two or three bedroom cottage with all the comforts of home, including a bathroom with shower, kitchen with refrigerator and stove, bedding, cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, silverware, etc. Outside each vacation rental, a picnic table and ground grill are provided for meals and evening campfires.

Explore This Park Flamingo Campground Due to sustained heavy rains, portions of the Flamingo walk-in campground are under water. This will require some of the campsites to remain closed until water subsides. Camping on the edge of Florida Bay offers spectacular sunrise and sunsets. Both tent and RV sites are available only minutes away from their main resort. Fort Pickens Campground – Florida The Fort Pickens Campground is located near Pensacola, Florida and has campsites, ranging in length from 16 feet to 50 feet, and one group tent site. Restrooms and dump stations are nearby all sites. Campers to include but not limited to individuals, groups, families at the Fort Pickens Campground may stay no more than 42 days annually, and no more than 14 days during the campground’s peak period of March 1 through Labor Day.
All stays during the year are counted towards these limits. From Labor Day through the month of February, campers may stay up to 14 day increments with a 48 hour absence required. Bona-fide groups may reserve the group campsite at the Fort Pickens Campground for tent camping only. There is no electricity, and only tents are allowed.
There are picnic tables, 2 grills, restrooms, outdoor showers cold water only and a large fire ring. The Fort Pickens Road can flood at anytime causing a closure of the road and campground.
